#1. Brittle Hair
As you might know, processed foods like canned food, meats, non-organic vegetables and fast foods are devoid of any kind of nutrients. Most of these foods are packed with salt and fat. Hence lack of nutrients will cause your hair to become brittle and break off. They will also cause split ends.
In order to gain back the solidarity of your hair and stop them from breaking, include more organic and fresh foods in your diet. Include foods like whole grains and consume more Omegs-3 fatty acids along with whole lots of fresh fruits and veggies.
#2. Premature Graying
Premature graying of hair is unfortunately due to genetics and nothing to do with diet. Though you can keep up a good diet just to make sure the hair remains healthy.
Also try and relieve some stress if you can. Stress is one crucial factor found behind the premature graying of hair as you can see on people who spend a lot of time in positions where they are responsible for many things and often perform under a lot of stress.
But most of the times, if someone from your family like your grandfather or father had gray hair early in their life, be rest assured that even you might suffer from premature gray hair. However, do find out a good hair colorist to occasionally dye the hair.
#3. Dandruff
Though dandruff is not life threatening to be precise, it is kind of annoying and embarrassing to have some flakes of dandruff fall on your new shiny black dress and even your constant scratching of scalp can be annoying.
The only reason for dandruff and dry scalp is over use of hair products like gel, sprays and other stuff. This makes the scalp dry and itchy. Instead use a dandruff shampoo from time to time in order to exfoliate and also to keep your scalp moisturized.
But if the color of those flakes are yellow, you might need a special hair shampoo to treat a condition known as dermatitis.
#4. Dull hair
Dull and non-shiny hair are a sign of dehydration and poor nutrition in your body. If the hair doesn’t shine and show dullness, it means that it doesn’t have any hydration. The hair shine due to water content in them.
As for nutrition, again eating processed foods will result in fats going straight to the heart and other organs and no nutrients will reach your hair. Always consume a balanced diet of fresh and organic fruits and vegetables along with legumes and foods containing omega-3 fatty acids.
Consumption of this balanced diet will result in long, shiny and healthy hair.
#5. Hair Fall
Just to clarify, it is normal for humans to lose hair. Each adult human loses around 100 strands of hair each day. But the problems start when people start losing that hair in a bunch and this becomes one of the most serious hair conditions then. Each time you brush your hair and find lots of hair in it, the reason behind that can be more serious than you think.
Most of the times, if you loose this much of hair in clumps, it is a sign that you might be suffering from psychological or physical stress. It can be due to any kind of factors such as illness, pregnancy or even severe depression.
Mostly stress can be increase by these factors. But it will not become a permanent thing. They grow back on their own in some months. In between, try to get minimum of 8 hours of sleep a night, do some exercise and again, eat correctly.
#6. Hair-thinning
Thinning of hair can be a very embarrassing situation for both men and women. Essentially hair become thin due to lack of the needed protein in your diet. Protein as you know are the building blocks of the body and they are also the most important ingredients present in your hair.
A very serious reason for hair thinning can be thyroid disease known as hypothyroidism. This disorder happens from thyroid not working properly and also accompanies symptoms like fatigue, joint and muscle pain and weight gain.
#7. Damaged Hair
Hair can be damaged due to the multiple products we try on the like straightening irons, curling irons, constantly putting new color on them. All these experiments will make them severely damaged. Mostly damaged hair can be treated using some deep conditioning. Also make sure that you drink 8 glasses of water a day.
